What a good real estate reel needs

A real estate reel is a short vertical video of a listing made for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. It has a different job from a full property tour: stop the scroll, show the best rooms, and give the viewer one reason to message the agent.

Short and vertical

Keep it around 15 seconds and shoot or export it at 9:16, so it fills the phone screen. Three or four strong rooms beat ten rushed ones.

A hook in the first two seconds

Open on the best room or the price. Viewers decide very quickly whether to keep watching, so the reel maker puts your strongest photo first.

Text inside the safe zone

Apps place buttons and captions along the top, bottom and right edge. Price, address and contact details belong in the middle band of the frame, where nothing covers them.

Motion that matches the room

One slow camera move per photo, changing direction from clip to clip, looks filmed. The same zoom on every photo looks like a slideshow.

Who this reels maker is for

Good fit

  • Agents posting a new listing on social the day it goes live
  • Photographers adding a quick reel to a photo package
  • Owners selling privately who want the listing to look professional

Not the right tool

  • Drone footage or video clips. It works from photos only for now
  • Long walk-through tours. Use a full listing video instead
  • Empty rooms that need furniture. We do not stage rooms or add furniture

How the house stays unchanged

AI video models sometimes add a window, bend a door frame or make a countertop disappear. For a listing, that is misleading, so every clip goes through a check before it reaches your reel.

  • We compare several frames of each clip with your original photo.
  • Two separate checks have to agree that nothing was added, removed or reshaped.
  • A clip that fails is made again with a slower, safer camera move.
  • If it fails twice, that photo gets a simple pan-and-zoom, so the room is exactly as photographed.

We do not stage rooms or change the sky, and the only thing we add is an AI presenter you choose, labelled as an AI character. The full method is on how we check accuracy.

Real estate reels maker FAQ

Is the real estate reels maker free?

You can make one free 15-second sample per device without an account. It uses real AI camera motion on 3 of your photos, comes out at 720p and carries a PREVIEW watermark. If you like it, the same reel in 1080p with no watermark costs $4.90. You only pay after you have watched your own sample, and nothing renews afterwards.

How many photos do I need for a reel?

Upload 3 to 8 listing photos. The free sample uses the 3 photos that work best for motion, usually a wide living area, the kitchen and one feature room. The HD reel uses up to 4. If you want every room in the video, make a full listing video instead: it takes up to 25 photos and exports both landscape and vertical versions.

Will the AI change how the house looks?

It should not, and we check. Every clip is compared with your original photo at several points before you see it, by two separate checks. If anything is added, removed or reshaped, the clip is thrown away and made again with a slower camera move. If it still fails, that photo gets a simple pan-and-zoom so the room stays exactly as photographed.

Can I add my price, address and contact details?

Yes. Type the price, address, status such as Just listed or Open house, and your name and phone or email once. They appear as captions and on the end card of the reel. We save them in your browser so the next listing starts with your details already filled in, and you can change them before every render.

What size is the reel for Instagram and TikTok?

The HD reel is 1080 by 1920 pixels, a 9:16 vertical video, which fits Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Reels without cropping. Captions sit inside the middle area of the frame so the app buttons at the top and bottom do not cover your price or contact details. The free sample uses the same layout at 720p.

Can I use the reel on MLS or listing portals?

Reels are made for social feeds. Most MLS systems and portals prefer landscape video, and some limit agent branding inside the video, so check your MLS rules first. For portals, make a full listing video and upload the 16:9 version. Every video carries a small AI-assisted label; see /ai-disclosure for what is AI and what never is.
